About Scott

I’m Scott McFarlane — a creative and digital specialist based in Grand Bank, Newfoundland and Labrador.

With a background in computer science and decades of hands-on experience in design, video, and digital media, I like creating things that are a little different — ideas and experiences that give a business, organization, or project its own presence and something people will remember.

My goal is simple — create something that works, gets noticed, and gives people a reason to remember it.

What I Do

I work across a range of creative and technical areas, including:

  • Website design and development
  • Video production and editing
  • Graphic design and branding
  • Content creation for social media and online platforms

My Approach

I keep things straightforward.

No overcomplicated processes.

No unnecessary layers.

Sometimes the answer is a website. Sometimes it’s video, design, technology, an idea, or a combination of them. What matters is finding something that fits what you’re trying to accomplish.

Just clear communication, practical solutions, and creative work that makes sense for your situation.

Experience & Background

I’ve been working with computers and creative tools for most of my life — starting with programming and evolving into full digital production.

For the past 25 years, I lived and worked in South Korea, collaborating with local businesses and organizations.

  • Built websites from scratch
  • Produced and edited video content
  • Designed graphics for businesses
  • Managed content across multiple platforms

This mix of technical and creative experience allows me to handle projects from start to finish.

Local Focus

Now based back in Grand Bank, I’m especially interested in working with local businesses, organizations, and ideas — finding creative ways to help them stand out and build a stronger presence.

Let’s Work Together

If you’re looking for someone who can handle both the creative and technical side of a project — feel free to reach out.
